Russian drone downed in northern Homs - rebels claim

(AhlulBayt News Agency) - The takfiri rebels in the northern countryside of the Homs Governorate released photos on Monday of a Russian drone they claimed their fighters downed over the Tal Dahab area.

According to pro-opposition activists, the Russian drone was flying over the besieged northern Homs pocket when the takfiri rebels shot down the unmanned aircraft.

While the photos released by the rebels did show a drone, it still remains unclear whether or not the unmanned aircraft was shot down or crashed due to technical difficulties.

The drone appears intact and does not have any bullet holes, indicating that it likely crashed due to technical difficulties.
